How To Upgrade your CH80 To Go Faster

So we want to upgrade our CH80's to go faster! Who doesn't?  I'm not 100% sure how to do this, so I need some community involvement. 

If your bike is running extremely slow (like sub 35) then I would check the basics.  You need to purchase

I ventured out into the land of painting.  It wasn't very hard and it will make your scooter look like new.  You can also remove scratches or other imperfections when you paint.

Honda Elite CH80 Carburetor O-Ring Size and Location

Using calipers I figured out that the orings needed on the carb are 13/16" ID (inner diameter) and width of 1/16". In Oring lingo this is called a -019 according to the AS568A standard. The Honda dealership wanted about $32 for a gasket kit for the carb that wouldn't even replace both of the orings required.
